Real Assets Blockchain
Real Assets Network (RAN)
Our intention is to create a layer 1 blockchain with “chartered” subchains that connect to the layer 1, similar to Polkadot or Avalanche. It's crucial to have interconnected side networks, such as parachains or subnets, to enable growth and scaling into the main layer 1. For the Real Assets blockchain, these chartered subchains are essential to facilitate collaboration among different disciplines of the real estate industry. Developing a layer 1 is a critical plan that will set RAN apart from other layer 1's as the blockchain of choice for the real estate industry.
Real Assets Coin
RAD is the governance token for our entire project, while the Real Asset Network (RAN) will serve as the cryptocurrency for the RAN blockchain, similar to how Ether (ETH) is for Ethereum. Although RAD will hold ownership, RAN will be the native currency among our main & sub-chains, and both will be necessary for staking to establish and run nodes within the different RAN subnets.
Several tiers of nodes will perform various tasks, and at the upper node levels, staking RAD will also be required. Nodes on the main net will require both RAD and RAN to be staked to validate and maintain the blockchain.
